Where the wild things are - practical strategies to support behaviour

Description

We will consider the possible reasons behind children's behaviour and when to be concerned. We will focus on the use of assertive language strategies, knowing when to intervene
and when to encourage young children’s problem solving. We will consider how staff can be consistent in implementing effective behaviour management.

Outcomes

By the end of this course you will understand:

  • How to use assertive language to promote positive behaviour
  • How to use conflict resolution strategies to encourage collaborative problem solving
