The IT Service provide range of supportive technology for schools to complement teaching, learning and administration.
The technology support services range from:
• Schools Wide Area Network (SWAN) – connection to our secure network enabling access to the internet and a range of other services provided by PCC.
• SIMS (School Information Management System) application support – locally based support including user groups, upgrades and access to training. SIMS annual entitlement procurement for subscribing LA schools.
• Admin Server and Desktop Support
• Remote Access (to the admin desktop)
• Desktop Hardware Repair
