We have been providing Payroll Pension and Travel Benefits Services to schools since the formation of the unitary authority in 1997. The majority of our academies have opted to remain with us for payroll services, in recognition of our value-add services. Our expertise is supported by a strong presence at national levels.
Our manager is the national chair of the Chartered Institute of Payroll and Pensions covering the public sector in the UK, giving direct contact with senior officials at HMRC and other government agencies. He also co-chairs the national Oracle Payroll User Group.
They work with the technical specifications from relevant bodies such as HMRC, Teachers Pensions, Local Government Pensions, The Pension Regulator and DWP to understand legislative requirements and deliver appropriate system upgrades in a timely manner. Examples of this include annual budget patches for statutory changes, upgrades for Pension Auto Enrolment, Real Time Information statutory changes and legislative occupational and workplace pension changes.
